———
The smart guy is told his whole life how capable he is.
He starts a business knowing he can think rings around his competition. He’s creative, he has insights into many things. He has 5 irons in the fire.
Therefore, he does the “smart” thing.
Smart guy divides his time up. He divides his people. He divides his resources evenly over each opportunity.
But a strange thing happens.
The more he works the less opportunities he sees. The more he works the less he gets out of the opportunities he has seen. He simply doesn’t have time to see. He must juggle too many things at once.
He’s overworked and underappreciated. His credibility wanes. His frustration grows.
———
There’s a rumor in town that the dumb guy is looking for a business to acquire…on the cheap.
