Sounds nice, but we don’t believe it.
We need every little contingency provided for. That requires detailed analysis. Which, of course, produces detailed plans.

A COMPLEX SOLUTION
———
The problem with complexity is that it’s difficult to understand.
Because it’s difficult to understand, it’s difficult to see all the unintended consequences.
Since more complex things can, in theory, have more unintended consequences, there is an increased risk that our complex solution will in fact cause more problems than the solution is worth…
Or it simply won’t work in the first place.
Fine. But what’s your point?
If your complex problem is your business, your business growth, or your business sucking the marrow out of your life, love, and liquidity—then a complex solution isn’t going to cut it.
If you don’t know what your focus is your solution is going to be cumbersome, rigid, and frankensteinishly complex.
Focus. Simplicity works.
